Description

In this machine, the parts of the garment and the interlining are placed one upon another properly for stiffening fabrics among other things. On the endless loop or loop-shaped feed sheet and fed in a flat condition. The feed sheet carries this part and the interlining to the fusing chamber. In the fusing chamber, the required pressure and heat are given. To transmission of heat in the interlining, a direct or indirect method is applied. After applying heat, the required pressure is applied to the interlining with the help of a pair of rollers. The surface of the roller is generally covered by hard rubber. With the help of spring or pneumatic power, the pressure is created in rollers. And there is an arrangement of increasing or decreasing heat. The preselected time is determined through the control of the speed of the endless feed sheet. The production of a continuous machine is high, and the quality of the fusing is also good. In some machines, for double fusing, there is an automatic feedback system. This is the most used machine in the garments industry. These are often used to apply the best tape that sticks to fabric. A fusing machine is used to permanently bond materials together by applying heat and pressure, enhancing durability, stiffness, or adhesion depending on the application. Textile Fusing Machines In the garment industry, fusing machines are primarily used to bond interlining to fabric to provide stiffness, shape, and structure to garments. The process involves placing the fabric and interlining on a feed sheet, which carries them into a fusing chamber where heat and pressure are applied. Rollers, often covered with hard rubber and powered by springs or pneumatic systems, ensure uniform pressure. The fused parts are then carefully removed to maintain a flat, wrinkle-free finish. These machines are widely used for high-quality, continuous production in clothing manufacturing. An Automatic Fabric Fusing Machine is a critical piece of equipment in garment manufacturing, used to bond an interlining (fusible material) to the base fabric using heat, pressure, and time. This process is what gives collars, cuffs, lapels, and waistbands their structural integrity and crisp appearance. Core Functions • Controlled Bonding: It melts the adhesive resin on the interlining and presses it into the fibers of the base fabric. • Uniform Heat Distribution: Unlike a manual iron, these machines use specialized heating elements to ensure the temperature is identical across the entire width of the belt. • Pressure Management: Pneumatic or spring-loaded rollers apply consistent pressure, preventing air bubbles or “strike-back“ (where glue seeps through the fabric). • Continuous Feeding: A conveyor belt system allows for a high-speed, non-stop workflow, significantly increasing production capacity compared to stationary presses. Key Elements of a Fusing Machine • Heating System: Uses upper and lower heaters to melt the interlining adhesive. Requires precision control (Contactor) to maintain a consistent temperature across the belt. • Pressure Rollers: Applies uniform force to bond the melted resin into the fabric fibers. Usually spring-loaded for adjustable intensity. • Conveyor Belt: High-grade Teflon-coated seamless belts that transport fabric. The non-stick surface prevents glue buildup. • Time (Speed) Control: An inverter motor regulates how long the fabric stays in the heating zone (dwell time), ensuring a perfect bond without scorching. • Auto-Belt Alignment: Sensors and cylinders that keep the wide belt (like your 1600mm model) centered to prevent edge damage. • Cooling System: Exit-point fans or rollers that quickly lower the fabric temperature to “set“ the bond instantly. • Cleaning Device: Scrapers and brushes that continuously remove glue residue and lint from the belt during operation. • Safety Features: Finger guards to protect operators from high heat and crushing hazards.
