Val Sequence Machine // Satari Machine // Sunrise Industries Val Machine

The process of converting Val to Sequence (or vice versa) typically refers to two distinct industrial functions depending on whether you are working with the raw material (sequin film) or the finished fabric (post-embroidery).In the context of the Surat textile market, this usually refers to the Val Curing or Finishing process, which transforms flat sequins into a dimensional, pipe-like “Val“ effect. 1. The “Val Curing“ Function (Fabric Level) When a fabric has already been embroidered with flat sequins (sequences), it often lacks the “3D“ or “raised“ look popular in heavy ethnic wear like sarees and lehengas. The machine used here is often called a Val Curing Machine. Function: It uses heat and pressure to “curl“ or “convert“ the flat sequins already stitched on the fabric into a tubular or cup shape, known locally as Val or Satari. How it works: The embroidered fabric is passed through a heated chamber (180°C to 220°C) and specialized rollers. The heat causes the plastic sequence material to shrink and curve, giving the embroidery a much thicker, more premium appearance. Result: The fabric looks more “hand-worked“ and catches light from multiple angles compared to flat sequins.
